YUPI LOCKS!

Soooo you are a regular guy/gal and don’t get most of the jokes in here?
Or even you think you are a fan of YUI but still don’t get the jokes??
Your questions aswered here!

1.- Who is YUI?
YUI, Japanese singer/songwriter
For some reason I fell in love with her, that’s why I started drawing this thingy.
… Strange? OH YEAH!


2.- Who is YUPI?
YUI has this radio show called YUI RADIO. In that show she plays changing the pitch of her voice pretending being another girl named ゆっぴ (yuppi), who speak in a slow paced voice and hataka-ben (not sure about that). That’s the character I picked for this story since I didn’t feel right drawing YUI directly (although she have appeared a couple of times already xD)


3.- Who is Shige-chan?
Shigezou-san is the actual co-host of YUI RADIO. He never shows his face on the show. That’s why I put the censored mark on his face. Even so, we already know who he is.
(I knew about it like a week after I draw the first strip… that’s why he doesn’t look like the real guy at all haha)

4.- What’s Marimokkori?
Marimokkori is a character popularized in Hokkaido. It’s selled at airports and lots of other places.
Looks like YUI really like this thing.
