It’s been a long time since my last drawing. I really really hope I can go back to my periodical drawing sessions…

The head is weird… the proportions are weird… this angle is always hard to do for me =_ =

Anyway… I think I want to make a series of pinups featuring oshare YUPI.

Wow..it’s been like forever Y_Y
I’ve never done something at this level of detail… it took me a lot of time.. but it still sucks!
I wanted to make two strips to finish the story, but I think I’m just gonna leave it as it is =_ =

Anyway…I wanna go back to drawing regularly everyday… I need motivation!

EDIT:
For some reason I had a file of young Utada Hikaru at different ages from her school days.
After looking at them I realized it would be better if i changed YUPIs age from 10 to 6 xD

Well well well, YUPI and I went to YUI’s first concert in Hong Kong!

We wanted to find the place where YUI played her street live..

But we couldn’t find it….

Wait a minute… where da heck is YUPI?!?!

Finally we found YUI-Lover bus (and friends)!!

Once at the venue.. time to buy YUI Goods!

Lining up, we found an autographied copy of HHITS DVD! Woot!

This item is a regrettable simbol to me: “YUI’s signatures are for sale”. Sad…
Or you could also lend a guitar to YUI and get three autographs..
ANYWAY! moving onto happier thoughts~ xD

Okay peeps, if you are reading this is beacuse the internets worked and now we are in Tumblr. The website does look better don’t you think?

It is true that tumblr has a couple of…limitations.. (tag list and search engine won’t work/exist lol)

And I couldnt get any third party script to work xD But all in all I think it is better than blogger.

If you are new in this website, please have a look around and gimme some thumbs up and hearts ok? xD
If you see any broken links please do tell me so I can fix them..I’m sure there are hundreds… orz

Once again Illustrator, trying a photographic approach. It’s more time consuming, but doesn’t require much creativity… just copy what you see… :S
It took several weeks!! DX
I was later playing with the colors to make something fun / interesting / crazy, but it’s not really working… aah need more color expertice.

Is this from Laugh Away promo pictures right?
Uhmm It looks like they made three different photoshoots for I LOVED YESTERDAY
This, with the sky background, the box and the truck~
I really love the truck pictures, but YUI looks a little different from usual on those.

Do you have any requests?

I think I made a drawing called like this before.. xD

This was a request made by blackdog, and it took me a lot of time!
…and it is very different from what he requested .. SORRY! >_<¡

I accept more vector requests, but you should know I always take requests as starting points and the outcome will be very different from what you have in mind… actually this drawing is very different from what I had in mind xD

Everybody were really happy and grateful for Yusuke’s kindness towards us. Being a person so close to YUI, you would expect him to be more distant when it comes to interact with fans.

But we were surprised when he showed himself so concerned about our birthday present to YUI.
I was almost completely sure the present got lost after the earthquake’s confussion. Even Hisashi -who even talked about last year’s present in his radio show- wouldn’t reply our messages, so I was about to give up on the subject. But since I have always distrusted Icchy, I had to find a way around him to confirm the present’s whereabouts.

The timing was perfect. Icchy was in Hong Kong making arrangements for the -at that time yet unknown- concert YUI will hold this month over there. And I recalled a contact email in honeybee’s website. I wasn’t sure, but I had the feeling that it would be Yusuke the person in charge of dealing with those emails. So I gave it a try.

The next step wouldn’t had been possible without the help of azmikun and hirotana. Yusuke must have tought: “This gaijin can really speak japanese!” But no. The brightest side of globalism made this possible. When I was sleeping, these guys were translating my messages with Yusuke back and forth. Thank you!

Finally, the present “appeared”, and a couple of days after, YUI was holding our CD in her hands for everyone to see.

After the raffle in aid to Japan, PWRTSM and MrSean won the two copies we put up for the contest, and Panda decided to give his copy to Yusuke in gratitude to his effort.

I don’t remember if it was my idea or someone else’s, but I thought it would be nice if I included a little cartonish portrait along with the CD. So I made this drawing:

And I didn’t sign it, on purpose. I’m still affraid that any kind of info related to me or to YUPI-Locks will automatically be banned from being published. But I’m 100% okay with that.

Gotchi later wrote a letter -again, translated by hirotana- explaining Yusuke the reason of this present to him and also telling him we raised money for Japan.
And the package was sent…

I think they wanted to express their gratitude for helping them to deliver the present.

HTT Rolling Star Claimed by Sony... and other rants

After working so hard to make this video, and writting a bunch of good arguments about why this video was made to SUPPORT and PROMOTE YUI instead of making profit for myself, it was finally claimed by Sony.

I can’t believe how narrow-minded these people are. YUI could be so much greater if Sony could accept the fact that they don’t live in the 90’s anymore. Youtube is there. All big artists use it, and millions of people have acces to their beloved artists.

Sony instead, keep everything to themselves.

Recent example: HELLO ~Paradise Kiss~ Limited Edition DVD:

Contents:
1. It’s My Life PV
2. Nothing
3. Else

We have It’s My Life PV in HIGH DEFINITION. Why should I bother to buy that shit?!!
Next single will come with a blank DVD… It can’t get any worse than this.
(I did buy it tho)

What about Live in the Dark? Jasmine and Shota included it in their works I believe.
What about It’s My Life making off? HELLO Making off?? e.u.Band’s trip??? Now you don’t even upload these material to GyaO anymore, and Mezamashi TV reports are shorter and shorter.

What are you fucking thinking? How this can possibly help YUI’s career in any way?
All this looks more like a boycott against YUI.

Not to mention MY WALKMAN PLAYLIST…
They promoted it as a LIVE broadcast. It wasn’t. It was poorly edited. At some parts video went off, at others the audio was out of synchronization!!! I mean COME ON!! Aren’t they professionals??

It really looks like they try their best to take as much money as they can with the lesser effort possible. Or even worse, doing things wrong on purpose.
And don’t make me start with that Maritime Square scam. If YUI doesn’t sing at least three songs, even the blindest fan will rage after all that money they wasted.

YUI deserves a lot more than this. Her songs are better and better. YOU is completely beautiful. I’m sure this single will be a success. But it could be so much more if Sony stopped being so stupid in their management poilcies.

I will upload my video again and again and again…
